The inspection of plastic products can be divided into factory inspection and type inspection. The factory inspection mainly tests the dimensional deviation and appearance of the products (such as bubbles, spots, impurities, depressions, etc.).
This test is carried out in the daily production process. The type test mainly tests the physical and mechanical properties of the product (such as tensile load, elongation at break, hardness, etc.), which must be carried out when the raw material formulation or production process changes.
The technical requirements and inspection items of different plastic products are different, so the test methods and inspection equipment are also different. For example, plastic film inspection requires the use of tape measures, plastic film thickness gauges,
plastic tensile testing machines, punching machines, and the like.
